My Why
Back in 2015, I set out to open a plus-size boutique. I poured my heart into a business plan, worked closely with a local women’s business center, and dreamed big. Even though that particular business didn’t launch, the experience lit a fire in me—a deep love for small businesses and a clear understanding of just how hard it can be to get the right support.
Since then, I’ve learned firsthand how challenging it is to build a business when you're navigating information overload, less-than-perfect credit, and the late-night hustle after a full-time job. Every business I’ve built—including A. Gruss Consulting—has been bootstrapped from the ground up. I’ve walked the same path as the women I support.
That’s why I do what I do. I created A. Gruss Consulting for the unconventional women entrepreneurs—the ones who don’t always see themselves reflected in traditional business spaces. I’m here for the first-timers, the night owls, the moms and caregivers, the dreamers working their 9 to 5s while quietly building something bold.
